People who sell a mobile phone may find the HTC Desire is the ultimate replacement, having been highly recommended by one site.
News and reviews portal T3 names the model as one of its top five gadgets of 2010, having already handed it the Phone of the Year title at its annual awards.
It believes the handset “set a new standard for Android smartphones”, with its processor, interface and touchscreen all cited as highlights of the design.
“A great camera, integrated social networking and excellent on-screen keyboard round off an excellent handset,” T3 adds, arguably suggesting the HTC Desire is the perfect mobile.
Its achievements are perhaps even more substantial bearing in mind it had to beat the challenge of the iPhone 4 in order to win both prizes.
However, Flora Graham, writing for CNET UK, recently took the opposite view as she named the Apple product on her shortlist for the year’s best phone.
